I’m looking forward to a spectacular performance on the TGMA stage – 2025 Unsung Artiste winner, Yaw Darling

Samuel Yaw Antwi, known as Yaw Darling, is excited for his performance at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). The event will take place on Saturday, May 10.

Yaw Darling was named the 2025 Unsung Artiste of the Year on Thursday. He shared his excitement in an interview with Property FM in Cape Coast. He expressed gratitude for the recognition and promised a memorable show.

He said, “On Saturday at the TGMA main event, I’ll receive my award on stage. I’ll also perform live with a band.” He aims to prove he deserves the award through his performance.

Yaw Darling emphasized that his show will represent his roots. “It’ll be a great day,” he said. “Everyone should watch me because I’m representing the Central Region.”

The Unsung Artiste category is powered by Close Up Ghana and the British Council. It highlights emerging artists who show promise in the music scene.

Yaw Darling’s selection follows a breakthrough year marked by his hit single “PASSWORD.” The song has been widely streamed and praised for its vibrant production and catchy lyrics.
