Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has chosen not to declare his political stance to maintain his ability to freely express views on national issues.
While he supports the right of celebrities to declare their political affiliations, he believes politics and religion tend to divide people.
M.anifest prioritizes being independent-minded and focuses on the relationship between people and power in his music, rather than aligning with any political party.
He acknowledges the potential repercussions of being vocal about political leanings but emphasizes that everyone, including creatives, has the right to make such choices.
For him, being Ghanaian takes precedence over political affiliations.
