Ghanaian actress and producer Yvonne Nelson has ruled out any interest in body enhancement, stating she is content with her natural appearance.
In an interview on Joy News’ Career Trail, she said she has never considered altering her body and sees no real benefit for women who undergo such procedures.
“I don’t think enhancing any part of my body is going to help me,” she said, adding, “If I were to do anything to my body, I would rather have a lot of babies.”
Yvonne emphasized that if she ever ends up in a hospital, it would be for childbirth—not cosmetic surgery. She believes many people turn to enhancements due to low self-esteem, describing the urge as a “mental thing.”
As a mother, she expressed concern about the message such changes send to children and cautioned young girls against chasing physical perfection, warning, “You’d always want to alter another part.”
