Ghanaian actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lilwin, has shared the struggles and triumphs of his journey in the entertainment industry.
Speaking on Lawson TV, he revealed how early rejections and negativity from colleagues shaped his path to success.
Lilwin recalled being doubted by peers when he started, but instead of retaliating, he focused on honing his craft.
“Some didn’t believe in me, but I didn’t respond to negativity. I chose hard work and dedication,” he said.
Despite facing unpaid roles early in his career, Lilwin prioritized growth over immediate earnings. “I wasn’t chasing payments. I knew the right opportunities would come,” he added.
Now a successful producer, Lilwin has cast former critics in his films, paying them generously. He also supports the industry by allowing filmmakers to use his production facilities without upfront payments.
“It’s not about immediate profit but helping others succeed,” he explained, emphasizing his commitment to uplifting others.
