“I didn’t see myself being a sector minister” - Rex Omar

Rex Omar was mentioned as a candidate for the tourism, culture, and creative arts ministerial position. However, he did not expect this appointment in President John Mahama's government.

Rex is currently the Coordinator for the Blackstar Experience. He feels comfortable in his current role.

When asked about becoming the sector minister, he responded on Hitz FM. He said, “I heard it, but God has his own way of doing things.” He added that he didn’t expect to be a sector minister due to political constraints.

Rex expressed gratitude for his role at the Office of the President. He believes he is where God wants him to be and appreciates the president's confidence in him.

He acknowledged the support from the presidency in his work. Rex stated that this responsibility is significant and requires guidance.

He thanked everyone involved, including the chief of staff and special advisor. Rex noted their support helps them succeed and fosters a good relationship with state agencies.
