I funded most of my projects while at Highly Spiritual – Mr. Drew

Ghanaian artiste Mr. Drew has shared how his time at Kaywa’s Highly Spiritual Music label prepared him for future challenges.

Speaking on Joy FM’s “Showbiz A-Z” , he revealed that while under the label, he personally funded some of his projects, despite it not being part of the initial agreement.

However, he had no regrets, as he believed in his vision and was determined to succeed.

Reflecting on his seven-year journey in the industry, Mr. Drew emphasized the importance of understanding the business side of music.

He noted that artists need to learn about contracts, financial management, and revenue streams to sustain their careers beyond record deals.

His experience has shaped his approach, making him more business-savvy in the evolving music industry.
