Ghanaian rapper Medikal reflected on his 2021 arrest for brandishing a gun on social media, describing the experience as dehumanizing and unfair.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, he revealed the difficulty of clearing his name with embassies due to the incident, which impacted his ability to travel.
Medikal claimed he didn’t realize displaying a licensed gun online was illegal and criticized how authorities handled his case.
He expressed disappointment, arguing that his actions did not constitute a crime.
The rapper also accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of unfair treatment and voiced skepticism about future governments, hoping for fairer treatment of citizens.
