Veteran Ghanaian actress Maame Dokono has six children with three different men. She shared this at the "Convergence of Mothers" event in Accra.

Her children recently celebrated her 80th birthday with a grand party. The event attracted many celebrities and dignitaries.

Maame Dokono, also known as Grace Omaboe, discussed her motherhood journey. She revealed that she faced near-death experiences during childbirth.

She had two children with each of her three husbands, starting with twins. After her first two births, she vowed not to have more children.

However, she changed her mind when she fell in love again during her second marriage. “I have six children with three different men,” she said.

The "Convergence of Mothers" took place on May 24, 2025. It was organized by media personality MzGee and The Reference Africa. The theme was "Yesterday’s Daughters, Today’s Mothers."

Many female celebrities attended the event at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

Maame Dokono turned 80 on June 10, 2024. Her six children organized a lavish birthday party for her milestone year.

The celebration featured a giant cake and many guests dressed elegantly. Maame Dokono wore a stunning blue-sparkling outfit for the occasion.

Actress Nana Ama McBrown honored Maame Dokono at the birthday celebration. In a viral video, McBrown sprayed GH¢100 notes on the veteran actress.

Many praised McBrown for her generosity during the event.
