Ghanaian comedian and actor Funny Face, born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, has shared his battle with severe depression and suicidal thoughts.
Speaking at a recent church event, he revealed how his faith in God helped him navigate his darkest moments.
Reflecting on his struggles, Funny Face urged Ghanaians to trust in God’s plan, no matter the challenges they face. "I have seen pain and suffering.
I’ve been to the psychiatric hospital and even prison, but through it all, God has been my strength," he said.
His mental health journey has played out publicly, including his arrest last year for reckless driving.
Now, he uses his story to inspire others, emphasizing that with faith, healing, and victory are possible.
