I left my phones with my cousins and friends – David Osei on Mahama ‘drunkard’ post

Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has denied posting a derogatory comment on X (formerly Twitter) referring to President-Elect John Dramani Mahama as a "drunkard."

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, he explained that after the election results, he received online attacks and left his phone with cousins and friends, who may have posted in response to the provocation.

Prince apologized for the incident, though his associates denied making the comment.

He clarified that he did not write the post but issued an apology because the comment appeared under his account, triggering death threats.

He emphasized the need for peace after elections.
