Nigerian rapper Ice Prince Zamani is confident about his place in rap. He recently discussed his lyrical skills on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast. The show is hosted by Nigerian content creator Isbaeu.

While he respects other rappers, Ice Prince feels his style is unique. “I am not saying other rappers cannot rap,” he clarified. “But it cannot be said that I’m wack.” He credited much of his growth to MI Abaga, a Nigerian rap icon.
Ice Prince considers MI Abaga a mentor and big brother. “I rapped with him for years,” he shared. Their relationship has greatly influenced Ice Prince's music career.
Known for hits like "Aboki" and "Superstar," Ice Prince blends rap, Afrobeat, and pop. His real name is Panshak Henry Zamani.

Born in Minna, Niger State, Ice Prince grew up in Jos, Plateau State. He is part of a talented group from Jos that includes M.I Abaga and Jesse Jagz.
In 2011, he signed with Chocolate City, an influential music label in Africa. There, he released his debut album "Everybody Loves Ice Prince."
