I’m a prophet - Archipalago speaks on King Promise and Kweku Smoke’s TGMA win

Ghanaian musician Archipalago has declared himself a prophet. He made this claim after predicting King Promise’s win as Artiste of the Year at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).

During an interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s Changes show, he cited his prediction of rapper Kweku Smoke's rise to fame. He believes this proves his prophetic abilities.

"I'm a prophet because I see things and have intuition," Archipalago said. "When I say something, it comes to pass." He mentioned telling Kweku Smoke that he would succeed, and now he has.

Archipalago also shared how he entered the awards ceremony without a ticket. He was allowed in thanks to actor John Dumelo, who is also a Deputy Minister.

"Despite not having a ticket, I was optimistic," he explained. His appearance on stage was unplanned but added to his reputation as an unpredictable personality.

“When I got there, I knew I'd be permitted because I'm Archipalago,” he said. However, things didn’t go as expected initially. He told his friend to wait while he figured out how to enter the auditorium. This too was part of his prophecy.
