Famous Jamaican Dancehall musician Vybz Kartel shared how he met his girlfriend, Sidem Öztürk.

In an interview on Hot 97 radio, he explained the details. He found her profile while scrolling through Instagram comments. At that time, he was having issues with his baby mama.

“Yeah, I met her on July 25, 2015. I’ll never forget it,” he said. While in prison, he was active on Instagram due to having free time. He noticed a girl who liked his pictures and decided to check her page.

Vybz Kartel mentioned that Sidem had been searching for him too. However, she initially found him through his baby mama’s account because of fake pages.

“Then she confessed that she was actually looking for me,” he said. “There were a lot of fake Vybz Kartel pages.”

He also revealed plans to marry Sidem this year. “She’s at my hotel right now with my mother,” he stated. “We’re definitely getting married this year.”

Kartel added humorously that he wants Turkish children who will speak to him in a language he doesn’t understand.
