I must win reggae/dancehall artiste of the year at TGMAs - Ras Kuuku

Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artiste Ras Kuuku has expressed frustration over being overlooked at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Speaking on Hitz FM with DJ Slim, he insisted that this year, he must win the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year award, as he believes he has been unfairly denied in previous years.

"Every year, they cheat me and give the award to somebody else. This year, it must be mine," Ras Kuuku declared.

His statement has sparked debate among fans and industry players, with some supporting his claim while others argue that competition in the category is strong.

Despite past disappointments, Ras Kuuku remains confident in his impact on Ghana’s dancehall scene and is determined to secure the recognition he feels he deserves.
