I started falling sick after doing drugs, visiting shrines - GodsNation

Ghanaian gospel musician GodsNation has opened up about his personal struggles with substance abuse and his involvement in black magic, sharing how he found redemption through faith.

In a recent interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, GodsNation recounted how his desperate desire for wealth led him to spiritualists and shrines. Although he initially gained material success, his fortunes quickly vanished, leaving him facing physical and mental turmoil.

"I started falling sick, and after several tests, including for HIV, the doctors couldn't find anything. I was prescribed pills to help me sleep, and they gave me a few hours of rest," he explained, revealing his struggle after distancing himself from these ungodly practices.

The musician also spoke about his brief involvement with Freemasonry, explaining his curiosity about power and validation. "I wanted to meet Satan face-to-face to confirm his existence," he admitted, reflecting on his past mindset.

GodsNation also shared a disturbing experience with drug use. He recalled an incident where smoking a single cigarette led to a terrifying mental breakdown. "I thought I was going mad and heard voices telling me to strip and run," he said, before turning to his mother for prayer. She provided the emotional support he needed, and it was through her guidance and a prophetic message that he found the strength to leave his past behind.

Now, with a renewed sense of purpose, GodsNation has released his new song "Only God," symbolizing his spiritual redemption and the transformative power of faith.
