I’ve apologised to Gloria Sarfo over flight issues – AMAA Country Director

Judith Oluwole Kuwornu, Ghana's Country Director for the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), apologized to actress Gloria Sarfo after flight issues left Ghanaian filmmakers stranded en route to the awards in Nigeria.

Despite offering an apology, Kuwornu expressed disappointment over Sarfo’s public complaints rather than a direct approach.

Kuwornu clarified that logistical challenges, such as not having a dedicated airline, contributed to the problem.

Sarfo voiced frustration on social media, noting that she missed multiple engagements due to AMAA’s lack of communication.

Only 14 out of around 40 invited Ghanaian attendees made it to the event.
