Embattled singer Speed Darlington remains in police detention despite being granted bail by the Federal High Court on December 25.

Arrested on November 27 for allegedly cyberstalking Burna Boy, he has now spent over a month in custody.

His lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Stan Alieke, accuse the police of defying the court's order to release or arraign him within 48 hours.

Alieke criticized the lack of support for Darlington’s case, attributing it to past controversies involving the rapper.

Adeyanju called the police's actions a blatant disregard for the judiciary.

Despite their legal efforts, the singer's release remains stalled, raising concerns about justice and police accountability.
