Ghanaian musician Safo Newman has rejected suggestions to use illicit substances to enhance his stage performance.

Despite criticism of his calm demeanor and introverted nature, especially following the success of his hit song "Akokoa," Safo remains committed to staying true to himself.

He stated on Hitz FM that he cannot be swayed by advice to go wild on stage.

The musician acknowledged criticism of his fashion and stage presence but is focused on improving these areas.

He continues to produce music that combines entertainment with meaningful content, including his latest song, "NPP, NDC."
