I was not allowed to perform at Daddy Lumba’s 60th birthday party - Kofi Nti

Highlife musician Kofi Nti has revealed that he was not given the opportunity to perform at Daddy Lumba’s 60th birthday celebration.

Speaking to Fiifi Pratt on *Afro Joint* on Kingdom FM monitored by Virgin Blogger, Kofi Nti expressed disappointment, stating that he had prepared to honor the iconic musician on his milestone birthday.

According to Kofi Nti, he was present at the event but was sidelined despite his close association with Daddy Lumba and his contribution to the highlife genre.

“I was there to celebrate a legend like Lumba, but unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to perform,” he said.

He acknowledged Daddy Lumba's immense influence on Ghanaian music and expressed hope for future opportunities to celebrate the legend in a meaningful way.
