Black Sherif's Career Reflections

Black Sherif recently discussed his life without music.

In an interview on the Afro Select Show, he shared his thoughts. He said he might be selling second-hand clothes in Accra. Alternatively, he could be working in his father's spare parts business.

He explained, “If I wasn’t doing music right now, I would probably be hustling crazy.” He added that if he weren’t in Accra, he’d sell tires in Konongo.

“My dad sells spare engines and parts; that’s a family business,” he noted.

Black Sherif also reminisced about high school in Kumasi. He was a boarding student but often sneaked out of school. He engaged in gambling and dancing near Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

“Back in high school, I didn’t really like to stay in school,” he recalled with a laugh. “I used to sneak out to go dance or gamble in Tech.”

Currently, Black Sherif is on a European tour. He is promoting his new album ‘Iron Boy,’ released on April 3, 2025.
