If I ever return to acting, it will be purely for passion - John Dumelo

Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur John Dumelo has opened up about his decision to leave acting, revealing that his true passion lies in agriculture.

Dumelo shared that the film industry was not enough to sustain him financially, which led him to pursue a career in farming.

With a deep desire to combat hunger and promote self-reliance, he ventured into poultry farming, yam cultivation, and cereal production.

He believes that agriculture offers a sustainable solution for the future, especially for Ghana’s youth.

Dumelo emphasized that while acting will always be a part of him, any future return to the screen will be driven by passion, as agriculture has already given him more than he ever dreamed of.
