If you don’t like plantain, we can’t date – Falz warns

Nigerian rapper and lawyer Falz has strong opinions about food.

In a fun moment on X, he shared his favorite meals. For him, food is serious when it comes to relationships.

Falz believes plantain is a love language. If you don’t like it, that’s “serious grounds for breakup.”

He also revealed his ideal meal: boiled yam and fried eggs. It’s simple, classic, and very special to him.

However, he isn’t fond of semo (semovita). He joked, “I wouldn’t advise eating semo in the morning… or any time of the day.”

Falz always keeps it real, even about food!

His full name is Folarin Falana. He is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor.

He graduated from law school in both Nigeria and the UK.

Falz mixes humor with storytelling in his music. Some popular songs include “Soft Work,” “This Is Nigeria,” and “Bop Daddy.”

He has also acted in several Nollywood movies and TV series. His acting has earned him awards as well.

Falz is the son of renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN). Activism runs in his family.
