Ini Edo hails the rise of women in leadership

Nigerian actress Ini Edo praised the increasing leadership roles women are taking, particularly in the creative industries.

Speaking to Joy Prime about her role in Shanty Town, she highlighted the progress women are making in film production and direction, especially in Nigeria.

Edo noted that many high-performing movies are led by women, signaling a shift away from gender stereotypes.

She attributed this success to hard work, confidence, and dedication, believing women have broken barriers in leadership.

Ini Edo is currently promoting One Night Guests, directed by Peter Sedufia, which premieres on December 25, 2024, in Ghana and Nigeria.

The film features stars like Chidi Mokeme, Majid Michel, and Yvonne Okoro.
