Ini Edo represents Nollywood at Red Sea filmfest

Nollywood star Ini Edo is attending the 2024 Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as an international guest.

The festival, running from December 5 to 14, showcases global and regional films.

Ini expressed pride in Nollywood’s evolution from home videos to international recognition.

She highlighted the industry's resilience and passion while celebrating its global standing.

Themed “The New Home of Film,” RSIFF focuses on the film industries of Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, and beyond.

The festival opened with The Tale of Daye’s Family by Karim Shenawi and will close with Michael Gracey’s Better Man.

Ini thanked RSIFF for the honor, expressing optimism for Nollywood’s future.
