It’s just comedy – Zicsaloma breaks silence on crossdressing allegations

Nigerian comedian Zicsaloma has addressed claims that he is a crossdresser. He insists that his portrayal of female characters is purely for entertainment. It does not reflect his personal lifestyle.

In a recent interview, Zicsaloma clarified his creative choices. He recently had a nose job and facial enhancements in Turkey. He emphasized that dressing as women is part of his comedy.

“I am not a crossdresser; I only dress like women for content,” he stated. “I don’t even wear makeup—not that I can’t do comedy without it.” He believes mimicking females is his comedic strength.

Zicsaloma noted that character impersonation is common in comedy. He compared himself to other performers who take on specific cultural roles for laughs.

He questioned if he influenced popular crossdressers who attend events in gowns. “Are you saying I influenced them?” he asked, referring to unnamed individuals.
