American rapper Ja Rule has revealed that he once recorded a song with a Ghanaian artist over 15 years ago but can’t recall the artist's name.
Speaking in an interview with JoyNews on April 1, 2025, he reflected on the collaboration while in Ghana for the commissioning of a six-unit classroom block at Nuaso Anglican Basic School in the Eastern Region.
“I did a record a long time ago with a Ghanaian artiste,” Ja Rule stated. “I have forgotten his name, but it was dope.”
Following his comments, Ghanaian rapper Kojo Cue suggested that the mystery artist might be Tinny.
Footage of Ja Rule and Tinny in the studio has since resurfaced.
Meanwhile, producer Morris Babyface shared a snippet of an unreleased track titled Hey Love featuring Ja Rule, fueling speculation about the song’s origins.
