Ja Rule and Wife Support Classroom Construction

The Nuaso Anglican Basic School in the Eastern Region has faced challenges. The school struggled with too few classrooms. This forced them into a shift system to accommodate all students.

American rapper Ja Rule partnered with Pencils of Promise for a solution. They are rebuilding the school's classroom block. This will create a safe and conducive learning environment for students. Now, every child can learn without overcrowding or harsh weather concerns.

Ja Rule spoke about the importance of education beyond textbooks. He believes activities like sports and arts shape students' futures. “This is not just about buildings; it’s about creating opportunities,” he said.

Freeman Gobah, Country Director of Pencils of Promise, noted construction challenges. The school’s topography made building difficult. However, the team remained dedicated to completing the project.
