Jay-Z’s lawyer has requested the dismissal of a lawsuit accusing him and Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000, citing inconsistencies in the accuser's claims.
The woman, using the pseudonym Jane Doe, alleges she was drugged and assaulted at a party following the MTV VMAs.
However, her claims conflict with evidence and alibis, such as photos and witnesses indicating the accused were elsewhere.
The woman admitted to errors but stands by her allegations. Diddy, who faces multiple sexual assault charges, denies all claims.
Jay-Z’s attorney called the suit a "false story" motivated by fame and money.
Experts note that trauma can lead to fragmented memories.
The lawsuit remains under review.
