Jay-Z releases statement amid allegations of rape with Diddy

Jay-Z, 55, denied accusations of raping a 13-year-old girl alongside Diddy, calling the claims part of a blackmail and extortion attempt by attorney Tony Buzbee.

In a statement via Roc Nation, Jay-Z said he would not settle and challenged Buzbee to file a criminal complaint if the allegations were credible.

He condemned the accusations as fraudulent and expressed sorrow for the impact on his family, particularly his children.

The lawsuit, brought by “Jane Doe,” alleges the assault occurred in 2000 at an MTV after-party.

Jay-Z emphasized his commitment to protecting children and vowed to expose what he described as malicious attempts to destroy his reputation.
