She shared photos of her injuries on Instagram Stories.

In one selfie, she smiled while icing her nose.

Another image showed a gash on the bridge of her nose.

Lopez explained that she got hurt during AMAs rehearsals but didn’t provide details.

Fortunately, she received immediate medical care from Dr. Jason Diamond.

“Thank you for stitching me up, Dr. Diamond,” she wrote alongside a photo with him.

A week after the incident, Lopez updated fans about her recovery.

She said, “A week later and a whole lotta ice, I’m good as new.”

Lopez will host the fan-voted award show on May 26.

The event will air live on CBS and Paramount+.

She is also set to perform at this star-studded event.

Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions, expressed excitement about her return as host.

He stated that Lopez’s talent and stage presence make her an ideal choice.
