Dr. Frank Amoakohene Visits the USA for Work

Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, recently flew to the USA. He traveled with other government officials for a working visit.

During this trip, they visited Illuminate USA, a solar manufacturing company. This company is known for its advanced clean energy technology. It is the largest single-site solar panel manufacturer in North America.

A video shared online shows Dr. Amoakohene wearing a high-visibility vest and helmet. He interacted with staff at Illuminate USA while observing their manufacturing process.

After the tour, Dr. Amoakohene expressed his excitement about the visit. He stated that their mission is to illuminate the Ashanti Region economically and literally through sustainable investments.

He was appointed as Ashanti Regional Minister on January 14, 2025. In just four months, he has gained attention for his initiatives.

One notable event was an 11-day festival held from April 12 to April 26. The festival attracted many celebrities and aimed to uplift the region's image in Ghanaian development.

Earlier, Dr. Amoakohene met Alexander Afenyo Markin, leader of the minority caucus in parliament. Their friendly interaction caught public interest due to their different political backgrounds.
