Jordan Ayew names Christian Atsu as the best player he has ever played with

Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has shared his thoughts on Christian Atsu. He said Atsu was the best player he ever played with.

Atsu tragically passed away in 2023. He was found under rubble after an earthquake in Turkey, where he played professional football.

In an interview with Joysports’ Daniel Koranteng, Ayew named Atsu as his top teammate. He mentioned other great players like Muntari and Essien.

Ayew also acknowledged Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew but chose Atsu. He felt Atsu did not receive enough recognition for his talent.

Recently, Jordan Ayew led the Black Stars to two wins in World Cup qualifying matches. They won 5-0 against Chad and 3-0 against Madagascar.

Ayew played a key role in these victories. He contributed to five goals, scoring once and assisting four times.

Ghana currently leads Group I with 15 points. They have a three-point advantage over second-placed Comoros, while Madagascar, Mali, the Central African Republic, and Chad follow behind.
