Joy Prime’s Big Chef Junior S4 officially launched

The excitement is back! Joy Prime’s Big Chef Junior 2025 has launched its fourth season. Ghana is once again captivated by this culinary adventure. It transforms everyday kids into kitchen royalty.

This year, the show airs every Sunday. Twelve talented young chefs were selected from auditions. They include Sasha, Monalisa, Serwaa, Hilda, Bubune, Raziela, Nicholle, Jaden, Rena, Marvin, Clifford, and Eliane. These passionate children are ready to compete for the title of Ghana’s Ultimate Junior Chef.

Viewers have enjoyed a rich mix of emotions during auditions. Each contestant showcases their skills in front of professional judges. Chef Rita Oko and Chef Kofi Agyekum lead the judging panel this season. The competition is intense in the Big Chef kitchen.

Chef Rita Oko is a celebrated figure in Ghana's culinary scene. She holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Rita has worked as Food & Beverage Manager at Njoy Hotel and teaches at GH Catering School. She also has experience with luxury brands like Kempinski. Her passion for mentoring young talent makes her perfect for Big Chef.

Chef Kofi Agyekum brings a no-nonsense approach to judging. He excels in both traditional and modern cooking techniques. Known for his high standards and innovative flair, he inspires young chefs while maintaining excellence.

Each Sunday night offers entertainment and inspiration. These children cook meals that tell stories and honor cultures. They express themselves through spices and sauces with creativity and flair. Whether plating jollof or adding twists to global recipes, these kids represent Ghana's food future.

There’s much at stake this season with rewarding prizes:

- Winner: GH₵10,000 cash + GH₵5,000 educational fund + sponsor products + trophy for their school.
- 1st Runner-Up: GH₵8,000 + sponsor packages.
- 2nd Runner-Up: GH₵5,000 + sponsor packages.
- 3rd Runner-Up: GH₵2,000 + sponsor packages.

All contestants receive special products and souvenirs as rising culinary stars.
