Just Turned 18: Our work exposes us to rape, threats, other dangers – Kayayei

In Ghana’s Agbobloshie, many young kayayei (head porters) face severe challenges.

On Joy Prime’s "Just Turned 18" show, they shared struggles with inadequate job opportunities, harsh living conditions, and safety issues.

Despite their efforts, high rent and risky street sleeping expose them to abuse and health risks.

They hope for better political support to improve their lives.
