Ghanaian music producer JMJ has addressed rumors about Kaakie's departure from his label, Xtra Large Music.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, JMJ explained their split. He said Kaakie wasn't passionate about a long-term music career.
JMJ recalled a moment when Abeiku Santana asked Kaakie if JMJ had wronged her. She responded that he had not.
He stated, “Kaakie loved music, but she wasn't passionate about it.”
JMJ noted that Kaakie's busy schedule made it hard for her to focus on music. She was balancing university life and her music career.
“Kaakie didn’t have time for music,” he said. “Just 10 minutes in the studio would blow your mind.”
He added that she was studying nursing, which is challenging. This made it difficult for her to dedicate time to music.
Despite this, JMJ understood her situation. He emphasized that while Kaakie loved music, she didn't see it as a long-term career.
His comments shed light on why Kaakie left Xtra Large Music. It seems her priorities shifted towards family and education.
Meanwhile, Kaakie has announced plans to return to active music soon.
