Kodak Black denies conversion to Islam, affirms Hebrew Israelite faith

Kodak Black has clarified rumors about his religious beliefs after a photo of him on a prayer rug led to speculation about his conversion to Islam.

Addressing the controversy on social media monitored by Virgin Blogger, the rapper stated, “No disrespect to the Muslim community, but I am a Hebrew Israelite.”

Kodak explained the photo was misunderstood, emphasizing it was taken out of context. He expressed frustration with blogs for spreading the false narrative, saying, “I feel disrespected by the narrative that I’ve converted to Islam.”

While Kodak acknowledged his respect for Islam and other religions, he firmly declared his identity as a Hebrew Israelite, stating, “I can’t tell you you’re wrong for your beliefs, and you can’t tell me I’m wrong for mine.”
