In December, Kofi was covering an event when a gun misfired. The incident shot gunpowder into his eyes and caused him to lose sight in one eye. This event created a frenzy online due to the lack of response from local authorities. Businessman Ibrahim Mahama helped Kofi get surgery abroad.

Ibrahim donated $115,000 for Kofi's recovery, which concluded in March 2025. Miracle explained that the doctor said her husband was traumatized after the shooting. She expressed her commitment to supporting him during this tough time.

In a video, she mentioned her diverse ethnic background would aid in his healing. "Ga Fante and Ewe will handle the trauma," she said confidently. Many netizens praised Miracle for her support and positivity.
