Kumawood stars unite to mourn C.Confion

The funeral of Kumawood actor Bright Owusu, popularly known as C Confion, took place in his hometown of Buokrom on January 11, 2025.

The ceremony attracted numerous Kumawood stars, including Lil Win, Wayoosi, and others, who gathered to mourn alongside Dr Likee, the late actor’s mentor.

C Confion, 28, tragically passed away on December 20, 2024, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Videos from the funeral show emotional scenes as colleagues like Kyekyeku and Opoku Bilson paid their respects.

C Confion was a rising star in the Kumawood industry, thriving under Dr Likee’s mentorship and leaving a lasting impression on the film community. The Kumawood family came together to support his loved ones during this difficult time.
