Kwade3 is not part of us – MUSIGA clear air

Abena Ruthy, the 2nd Vice President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), has clarified that hiplife musician Kwadee is not currently a member of the union.

While some have criticized MUSIGA for not supporting Kwadee during his tough times, Ruthy explained that the artist has not been a member for some time.

However, she emphasized that MUSIGA had supported Kwadee in the past and intends to continue helping him on humanitarian grounds.

She urged members to contribute to welfare and insurance policies to ensure the union's support for members.

Ruthy also addressed misconceptions, noting that not all musicians automatically belong to MUSIGA.

In 2018, MUSIGA visited Kwadee at a rehabilitation center, showing past efforts to assist the artist.
