Lil Wayne says he and Kendrick Lamar have spoken about the 2025 Super Bowl: 'He better kill it'

Lil Wayne expressed disappointment about being passed over for the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show in his hometown, New Orleans, in favor of Kendrick Lamar.

Despite the initial hurt, Wayne revealed he has spoken with Lamar, encouraged him to "kill" the performance, and harbors no ill feelings.

On Undisputed with Skip Bayless, Wayne admitted he doesn't understand why he was overlooked, hinting at industry "politics."

He remains determined to make himself "undeniable" for future opportunities.

Addressing Lamar's lyrics referencing his disappointment, Wayne interpreted them as a sign of mutual respect.

Though disappointed, Wayne said he's not making a surprise cameo as he will be out of the country during the show.
