Lil Win Urges President Mahama to Protect Ghanaian Celebrities
Actor and filmmaker Lil Win has called on President John Dramani Mahama to protect Ghanaian celebrities. He made this plea in a video shared on his Instagram account.
In the video, he emphasized the importance of prioritizing Ghanaian movies and music over foreign content. Many viewers commented on his English pronunciation during the video.
Lil Win expressed pride in being Ghanaian. He stated, "The Ghana flag is behind me because I come from here." He urged the President and his ministers to ensure the safety of all celebrities in Ghana.
He highlighted that every country values its celebrities for national progress. Lil Win also suggested enforcing a law to promote only Ghanaian movies and songs.
He pointed out that Nigerian radio does not play Twi songs or show Ghanaian films. Reactions to his plea varied, with some laughing at his English while others supported his message.
