Grammy-winning gospel musician Jonathan McReynolds has been granted professional membership in the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) during a ceremony at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The event coincided with President Akufo-Addo granting Ghanaian citizenship to 524 diasporans, including McReynolds.
MUSIGA honored him with a citation recognizing his musical achievements and role as a representative of Ghanaian culture globally.
Former MUSIGA president Diana Hopeson and 1st Vice President Rev. Dr. Thomas Yawson highlighted the significance of this membership in fostering international ties and empowering artists.
McReynolds expressed gratitude and pledged support for Ghana’s music industry.
The MUSIGA Pro membership aims to enhance professional development through workshops, networking, and resources for musicians.
