Management of Multimedia Group commiserates with DJ Awana’s family

On Tuesday, April 8, 2028, the Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) met with the family of Samuel Tei Mensah Nartey. He was popularly known as DJ Awana.

The MGL delegation included Chief Operating Officer Ken Ansah and Senior Editor Christian Amoadu Ohene.

Other attendees were HR Business Partner Philip Kojo Mensah and Adom FM Programmes Manager Joshua Tigo. Senior Editor Martha Crenstil and Dwaso Nsem host Jerry Forson were also present. Additionally, Producer Shadrack Kofi and Head of Joy FM Programmes Kwadwo Ampofo (DJ Black) attended.

The family thanked the delegation for their kind words during this difficult time.

DJ Awana passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, after a short illness. He was a celebrated veteran DJ known for captivating his listeners.

Many sympathizers in Ghana and around the world honored him for his commitment to music.
