Manhyia Palace: Afua Asantewaa calls on Asantehene over Awukudae

Afua Asantewaa O. Aduonum, a marathon singer, visited the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace during the inaugural Awukudae celebration on January 1, 2025.

The visit expressed gratitude for Otumfuo's support during her second Guinness World Record attempt at the Baba Yara Stadium in December.

The Asantehene commended her courage and efforts to promote Ghana internationally.

Accompanied by Kwame Adinkra and others, Asantewaa's record attempt, held from December 21-26 at Heroes’ Park annex, drew local and global attention for its display of musical endurance.
