Controversial Nollywood actor and self-proclaimed cleric Yul Edochie has claimed that many Nigerian pastors are ignoring their true calling to become native doctors.
He argued that societal influence, particularly Western views and Nollywood’s portrayal of native doctors as “evil,” has caused this shift
Edochie emphasized that being a native doctor is a divine calling, chosen by God to help humanity. He stated that native doctors, like pastors, can choose to fight or perpetuate evil, depending on their intent.
On Instagram, he urged clerics to embrace their true purpose, warning that ignoring this calling could lead to a lack of fulfillment.
Edochie believes native doctors serve a vital role, and their work should not be demonized or misunderstood.
