Reverend Eastwood Anaba has attributed some men's reluctance to attend church to how their wives treat pastors compared to their husbands.
During a sermon, he noted that men often feel disrespected when their wives show excessive reverence to pastors while neglecting similar care and affection at home.
He illustrated this by mimicking wives who greet pastors with enthusiasm and humility, saying, "Daddy, good morning, Daddy praise the Lord, Daddy I miss you," while failing to extend the same warmth to their husbands.
Rev. Anaba emphasized that such behavior makes husbands perceive pastors as competitors for their wives' attention and respect, leading to resentment and reluctance to participate in church activities.
His comments have sparked discussions about marital dynamics and church culture.
