Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts Minister-Designate, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has pledged to prioritize the development of Mole National Park and other tourist attractions.
During her vetting before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on January 22, 2025, Gomashie stressed the importance of strategic investment to enhance Ghana’s tourism sector. “Mole has been a top destination for years, but it needs more funding to reach its full potential,” she said, vowing to advocate for increased government support.
She also highlighted the *Black Star Experience* model, which encourages local assemblies to undertake arts, tourism, and cultural projects, boosting local economies.
As MP for Ketu South and a traditional leader, Gomashie aims to position tourism and culture as pivotal drivers of Ghana's economic growth.
