Money doesn’t satisfy me – Burna Boy

Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has made a bold statement about his career. He emphasizes that financial success does not fulfill him.

In a recent post, the Afrofusion superstar said money gives him no satisfaction. This is despite being the highest-paid artist in African music history.

“I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my truth,” he wrote. “But it doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest-paid artist in African music. Believe it or not.”

The “Ye” hitmaker shared that his true passion is performing live with his band, The Outsiders. He finds fulfillment in connecting with fans on stage.

“At this point, I just want to LIVE and DIE on stage with my band,” he stated. “I’ve achieved all my personal dreams.”

He added, “Money gives me no satisfaction; nothing really does except being on stage with my God-sent band.”

Burna Boy’s statement shows his dedication to music over material wealth. He has sold out arenas worldwide and earned global recognition.

Now, he prioritizes the joy of live music above financial gain. Burna Boy believes his purpose lies in making music and sharing it with the world.
