Movie producer advocates for vasectomy for young men to avoid unwanted pregnancies

Ghanaian filmmaker Leila Djansi has called for young men who are not emotionally or financially prepared for fatherhood to undergo vasectomy.

She highlights that the procedure is reversible and could help prevent unwanted pregnancies and reduce the number of abandoned children.

In a social media post, she suggested, "Stop abortion at the source.

Vasectomies are reversible. Make every young man have one.

When he’s deemed financially & emotionally fit to be a father, it will be reversed."

Djansi believes this approach could contribute to a better society.
