Music producer Joseph Appiah to present constitution audio book to Mahama

Music producer Joseph Appiah, known as Quick Action, has exciting news. He will present an audio book of Ghana's Constitution to President John Dramani Mahama and the Constitution Review Committee.

Joseph came up with the idea to translate and record the Constitution. He aims to make it accessible in major local dialects.

He stated that many politicians, media houses, and legal practitioners support this initiative. The previous government formally approved the project in 2022.

Joseph believes that sovereignty resides with the people of Ghana. He feels that if the Constitution is only in English, many citizens feel disconnected from it.

Almost 90% of Ghanaians cannot access their fundamental rights outlined in the Constitution. He trusts President Mahama will support this initiative for implementation.

The Constitution is over 30 years old and needs translation into local languages. This change would help current and future generations understand it better.

Joseph thinks this effort will enhance Ghana’s democracy and rule of law. As C.E.O of S24 Recording Studio, he has produced top artists both locally and internationally. He has also worked with recognized advertising agencies and corporate entities.
